Finally out & about

One place we always manage to get to each day has been the giant playground on the corner of the Meadows. Which is a park, a block away from our apartment. As you can see M is very fond of this place.

June 2, 2015 - I am the Queen of the world!

Today, June 3, was a little easier to get out of the house. My new strategy is to go to the playground first on our way out for the day. The older kids here are still in school so in the mornings it is just M and toddlers. Therefore she has all the big equipment all to herself. This makes her happy. So unless it is raining I suspect we will start all our days this way. Well.... may have to start making a side trip for a coffee on our way over but you get the general idea.

M is fascinated by the tiny daises that grow in the grass She found a spot full of them and wanted her picture taken with them. She said from where she was she could see the underneath of the daisies. For some reason this made her smile.

Princes Street Garden

 We brought a picnic lunch and at in the Princes Street Garden. Then we did a wee bit of shopping while we were up at the high street. The weather is still on the chilly side but we had a much better outing today.

M really enjoyed the bagpipe music. Was pretty fun to watch her dance. If we run out of money we could set out a box and let her dance all day.

Tonight we are heading out to have dinner at a restaurant for the first time since we got here. We have been making food at our place and grabbing a few things on the go. But this will be our first real sit down dinner experience. Hope all goes well. Kiddo has promised me she will try new things. We will have to see just how brave she is willing to be.
